Holy Ghost Live in Me

Scripture: Hebrews 3:6 – But Christ as a son over his own house; whose house are we, if we hold fast the confidence and the rejoicing of the hope firm unto the end."

Devotion: Christ is the Son of God. He lived in heaven before He came to earth in the form of a human.  He was and is the Son over His house, but we have been grafted in as sons and daughters of God. We are the house where the Holy Ghost lives, abides and rules over, so that one day we will live again and have our mansion.

Jesus said in John 14:2: In my Father’s house are many mansions: If it was not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you.”

If we want to live with Jesus in our mansions, we must allow the Holy Ghost to live in our bodies to help us run this race, stay the course, and endure until the end.

Prayer:  Father, we thank You for thinking enough of us to send Your Son to live in this evil world, so that He could leave an example for us to live by.  Thank You, Jesus, for sending the comforter to us in the person of the Holy Ghost, so that we can live a life pleasing unto You, and so that we will be able to live with You and Our Father when we leave this earth. In Jesus’ name. Amen.
