“God’s Saving Grace”
Scripture: Titus 2:11-14 (NIV)

“For the grace of God has appeared that offers salvation to all people. It teaches us to say “No” to ungodliness and worldly passions, and to live self-controlled, upright and godly lives in this present age, while we wait for the blessed hope—the appearing of the glory of our great God and Savior, Jesus Christ, who gave himself for us to redeem us from all wickedness and to purify for himself a people that are his very own, eager to do what is good.”

Devotion:
God’s saving grace is truly amazing. His saving grace came down through 42 generations, wrapped Himself in human flesh, took the entire sins of humanity upon His blemish free soul, hung, bled, and died for us. Then, rose again with all power, and He redeemed us back to God. Jesus is our saving grace today, and He redeemed us for a purpose.

In today’s scripture, Paul is writing to Titus, and he lets us know that not only did God’s grace bring us the gift of salvation through Jesus, but it also teaches us to live righteously before God and turn away from sin. Daily, we have to choose to do what’s right and allow God to lead and guide us while we wait for the glorious return of our Savior. What do we do while we wait? I am so glad you asked. We let someone else know that Jesus saves, He delivers, and He sets free! We show others the power and the peace of God’s saving grace by living a life that honors Him.

Prayer:
God, thank You for Your saving Grace and redeeming me back to You. Help me share Your word with others so they may receive the gift of salvation. Amen.
