“Boldly Approaching the Throne of Grace”
Scripture: Hebrews 4:16 (NIV)

"Let us then approach God's throne of grace with confidence, so that we may receive mercy and find grace to help us in our time of need."

Devotion:
This verse is a powerful reminder of the privilege we have as believers. Through Christ, the barrier of sin has been removed, granting us direct access to the presence of God. His throne, once a symbol of judgment, is now a throne of grace where mercy and help abound.

God invites us to approach Him boldly—not timidly or with hesitation—because we are His children. This confidence doesn’t stem from our own righteousness but from the finished work of Jesus. When we face challenges, weaknesses, or failures, we can rest assured that His grace is sufficient, and His mercy is available.

Application:

1. Be confident in prayer: When you pray, remember that God hears you and desires to respond with love and compassion.
2. Rely on His grace: In moments of weakness or failure, lean on God’s grace to sustain and uplift you.
3. Extend grace to others: As recipients of grace, strive to show the same kindness and mercy to those around you.

Prayer:
Heavenly Father, thank You for the privilege of approaching Your throne with confidence. Help me to trust in Your mercy and grace in every situation. Teach me to rely on You fully and to extend the same love and kindness to others. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
