Plans to Prosper You
“For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.” - Jeremiah 29:11

Devotional:
Many of us grew up in the era where we were taught that God is a God of raft and destruction. If we disobeyed Him, we would be doomed to hell with fire and brimstone. We were not taught about the grace of God nor the Love of God. 

Jeremiah reminds us that The Lord has plans for us. And those plans are, to prosper us, and not to harm us. Plans to give us hope and a future. If He has a future for us, that means He does not plan on destroying us. One thing we can rest on is this; The Lord Loves us.

As you go through this day, thank God for loving you so much, that He’s made plans for you that you don’t even know about. 

Prayer:
Lord, I thank you for not forgetting about me. I thank you for loving me so much that you want the best for me and I in turn will serve you forever. Amen.
