It’s Good When We’re Together
Behold, how good and how pleasant it is For brethren to dwell together in unity! - Psalm 133:1

Devotional:
David realized the importance of God’s people to live together in unity. We have spoken this week about building our community, about understanding the body of Christ, about understanding how each part plays a part in the other, about knowing your purpose and about using your purpose to build up the body. David was excited about God’s people coming together in unity – hence the exclamation mark at the end of the verse! God’s people coming together in unity is a beautiful thing, it is a glorious thing, and it makes the angels rejoice.
People of God – let us build our community. Let us stand up, accept our role, walk in our purpose, strengthen our brother/sister, and walk in the unity that God wants us to walk in. When we do our part, God will certainly do His!

Prayer:
Father, thank you for helping me understand how to build my community. Help me to apply what I have learned in order to strengthen the body of believers to Your Glory! In Jesus’ Name, Amen.
