Daily Devotional -Day 15 (01/15/2024): Be An Example in Speech, in Conduct, in Love, in Faith, in Purity

Devotional:
This week as we focus on cultivating leaders, we want to begin with the basics. Amen. As Christ’s representatives in this world, we must always strive to be the absolute best representation of Him on Earth. This means that the way we conduct ourselves must align with his example, according to His word. He reminds us in 1 Peter 2:21 & 22 that we should follow Christ as our “Perfect Example.”

In today’s devotion he admonishes us to be an example in Speech. As believers, our words should be seasoned with salt and not filthy. He lets us know that we should conduct ourselves as Children of God, in Love, in our faith and in purity. If we follow Our perfect example,  then we will show ourselves not only as children of God, but as effective leaders among men. 

Prayer:
Our Father in Heaven, We thank you for being our perfect example. As we go throughout the week and the days ahead, Help us to be examples of holiness, righteousness, and Your love. Let us reflect You in the way we walk, in the way we talk, and in our actions. In Jesus’ name. Amen.
