“His Grace”
Scripture: Ephesians 2:8-9

"For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith—and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God—not by works, so that no one can boast."

Devotion:
These verses are a cornerstone of the Christian faith, reminding us that salvation is not something we can earn by our deeds or efforts. It is a gift from God, freely given through His grace. This grace is accessed by faith, trusting in the finished work of Jesus Christ on the cross.

God’s gift of salvation eliminates any room for pride or self-congratulation. We are saved not because of our goodness, but because of God’s overwhelming love and mercy. This truth humbles us and fills us with gratitude, as it shifts the focus from what we can do to what God has done for us.

Application:

• Reflect on areas of your life where you may rely on your own works instead of trusting in God’s grace.
• Take time today to thank God for His gift of salvation.
• Share this message of grace with someone who needs encouragement or hope.

Let today be a reminder to rest in God’s grace, knowing it is sufficient for all our needs.

Prayer:
Heavenly Father, thank You for the gift of salvation through Your grace. Help me to live in humility, always remembering that it is not by my works but by Your mercy that I am saved. Strengthen my faith and guide me to share this incredible gift of grace with others. In Jesus' name, Amen.
