God is Love” 
“Dear friends, let us love one another, for love comes from God. Everyone who loves has been born of God and knows God. Whoever does not love does not know God, because God is love. This is how God showed his love among us: He sent his one and only Son into the world that we might live through him. This is love: not that we loved God, but that he loved us and sent his Son as an atoning sacrifice for our sins. Dear friends, since God so loved us, we also ought to love one another. No one has ever seen God; but if we love one another, God lives in us and his love is made complete in us.”   
I John 4:7-12

Devotional
God’s love for us is a factual and concrete reality. We can’t earn it, we don’t deserve it, it just is! His love is not fickle or discriminatory, it is not based on what we do for Him. His love uplifts, it restores, it builds, it comforts, it encourages…I could go on and on. However, the greatest example of God’s love for us was sent through His son, Jesus. Nails didn't hold Jesus to the cross, it was His love for us. God’s love is unconditional and real, and He expects us to share that love with others. When you get a gift you love, you tell everyone about it; you share it, and you show it. Well, Jesus was the greatest gift ever given to humankind, and it is our job to tell everyone about His love. It is our job to share His love, and it is our job to show His love. The next time the stinking little enemy tries to attack your mind with fear, doubt, worry, stress, and unrest, let him know that, based on John 3:16, God’s love redeemed you back to Him through Jesus Christ. We won’t perish, but we shall live eternally with Him. Live! Live! Live! Love! Love! Love!

Prayer
Search my heart oh Lord, and if you find anything that should not be, take it out of me, cleanse me from the inside out, and let your love guide, order, and direct my steps. In Jesus' Name Amen.
