“Justified by Grace”
Scripture: Romans 3:24 NIV

 “Yet God, in his grace, freely makes us right in his sight. He did this through Christ Jesus when he freed us from the penalty for our sins.”

Devotion:
We can’t earn the gift of salvation. We don’t deserve the gift of salvation, and we could never repay the gift of salvation. Through Jesus Christ’s redemptive work, God revealed His amazing grace to us. Jesus freed us from the penalty of sin. When death was our portion, He stepped in and said live! But He did not stop there. Jesus came so that we could live abundantly. That means that we are free and free indeed! The trick of the enemy is to keep us bound by our past, but the blood of the Lamb has redeemed us and washed us anew!

It is God’s grace that makes us right. If my sanctification and holiness were based on my ability or strength, I would completely fall short. But God! I am so very thankful that it is God who justifies us because His grace is sufficient for us. God is not like man. When He sets you free from any penalty, you are free! Free indeed.

Prayer:
God, thank You for redeeming us back to You. Thank You for delivering and saving us from the penalty of sin. Help us show Your grace, love, and mercy to someone else. Amen.
