In the Multitude of Counselors There is Safety
Where there is no counsel, the people fall; But in the multitude of counselors there is safety. - Proverbs 11:14

Devotional:
Often times pride gets in the way of us asking for help. We want to either look strong or not look weak. What we don’t realize is that either of the two will cause us not to seek counsel. The Bible reminds us that iron sharpest iron, Proverbs 27:17. We are here to support each other. If you can help me in an area that I’ve not experienced before, by all means, let’s have a conversation. We must also remember that every counsel is not Godly counsel. Be sure you pray and seek God on who to connect with. It’s the little foxes that spoil the vine. Any little thing could trip us up and cause us to fall. And that my friend is not safety.

Prayer:
Dear God, help us to find safety in the counsel of others. Give us Godly counsel and wisdom. Let us all connect with the right people and teach us who and who not to take counsel from. Let us be able to discern wise counsel from unwise counsel. Let us learn from the counselors that you place in our lives. In Jesus Name Amen.
