“The Grace That Shapes Us”
Scripture: 1 Corinthians 15:10

"But by the grace of God I am what I am, and His grace toward me was not in vain; but I labored more abundantly than they all, yet not I, but the grace of God which was with me."

Devotion:
This verse reminds us of the transformative power of God’s grace. Paul acknowledges that his identity and accomplishments are not his own but are entirely the result of God’s unmerited favor. Grace is not just forgiveness; it’s the divine empowerment to live, serve, and grow in the purpose God has for us.

Paul also highlights the partnership between grace and effort. While grace is the foundation, Paul emphasizes his response to it through diligent work. This balance reminds us that God’s grace doesn’t nullify our responsibility—it equips us to live faithfully and fruitfully.

God's grace has been poured into your life as well, shaping you into who you are today. Reflect on how His grace has carried you through challenges, enabled you to serve others, and drawn you closer to Him. Remember, no effort done in response to grace is ever in vain.

Lord, thank You for Your amazing grace that has made me who I am today. Help me to respond to Your grace with gratitude and diligence. May Your strength work through me to fulfill the purpose You’ve placed in my life. Let everything I do reflect Your love and bring glory to Your name. Amen.
