Saved By Grace Through Faith
“8 For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: 9 Not of works, lest any man should boast. 10 For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God hath before ordained that we should walk in them.” - Ephesians 2:8-10

Devotional:
Paul reminds us in this scripture that it is through grace we are saved. Let’s look at a few words here.  Who is Grace? Grace is Jesus Christ. Jesus Christ came as grace for us. Meaning, What should have happened to us, didn't happened to us. And because of that, we are now saved from the punishment of sin. It is through faith that we receive the grace of God. We know it is impossible to please The Lord without faith. It is impossible to believe in Him without faith. How can we believe in something that we’ve never seen if not through faith.

Pastor John P. Key wrote a song some years ago, “By grace, through faith, I’m able to receive all that I need.” That grace and faith is in and through Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior.

As you go throughout your day today, think about how wonderful it is to have the grace of God standing in the place for you. There is Grace for all us, but it requires faith to receive the Grace of God and His Grace is His Son Jesus Christ.

Prayer: 
Lord, I thank you today for your grace that came to save me from sin, a debt that I no longer owe. In Jesus Name Amen.
