“Living Under Grace”
Scripture: Romans 6:14 (NIV)

“For sin shall no longer be your master, because you are not under the law, but under grace.”

Devotion:
This verse is a powerful reminder of the freedom we have in Christ. Before knowing Him, sin was our master, dictating our actions and keeping us in bondage. However, through Jesus’ death and resurrection, we have been set free from sin's power. We are no longer under the heavy burden of the law, trying to earn righteousness through our own efforts. Instead, we are under grace, a gift that empowers us to live holy lives in freedom and victory.

Living under grace doesn't mean we are free to sin; it means we are free from sin. God’s grace transforms our hearts and gives us the desire and strength to follow Him. When we face temptation, we can lean on this truth: sin no longer has authority over us.

Application:

• Embrace Grace: Remind yourself daily that you are under God’s grace, not the law. Let this truth shape your identity and actions.
• Resist Sin: When you feel tempted, declare that sin has no power over you. Pray for strength and guidance to walk in freedom.
• Reflect God’s Love: Show grace to others as God has shown grace to you. Let His love flow through your words and actions.

Grace is not just a gift to receive but a power to live by. Let grace guide your steps today.

Prayer:
Heavenly Father, thank You for the gift of grace that sets me free from the power of sin. Help me to walk in this freedom each day, relying on Your strength and not my own. When I face temptation, remind me that I am no longer a slave to sin but a child of grace. May my life reflect Your love and bring glory to Your name. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
