Daily Devotional Wk10 - Daniel Fast Day 21 - 03/09/24 - "He Loves Me"

“He Loves Me!”

Jeremiah 29:11-13
11 For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the Lord, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end. 12 Then shall ye call upon me, and ye shall go and pray unto me, and I will hearken unto you. 13 And ye shall seek me, and find me, when ye shall search for me with all your heart.

Devotional:
Let me start with this. “God Loves Us!” He wants the best for us. Never does He think negative thoughts about us. He will never let something evil happen to us. That is not His motive. He wants us to walk in peace, which is why He says for us to keep our mind on Him for perfect peace.

He has an expected end for us and that’s to be in eternity with Him. Now that we are restored back to Him, we have access to the kingdom of God through Jesus Christ. Jesus Christ is the Hope of Glory.

I Peter 1:3-9.
3 Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, which according to his abundant mercy hath begotten us again unto a lively hope by the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead, 4 To an inheritance incorruptible, and undefiled, and that fadeth not away, reserved in heaven for you, 5 Who are kept by the power of God through faith unto salvation ready to be revealed in the last time. 6 Wherein ye greatly rejoice, though now for a season, if need be, ye are in heaviness through manifold temptations: 7 That the trial of your faith, being much more precious than of gold that perisheth, though it be tried with fire, might be found unto praise and honour and glory at the appearing of Jesus Christ: 8 Whom having not seen, ye love; in whom, though now ye see him not, yet believing, ye rejoice with joy unspeakable and full of glory: 9 Receiving the end of your faith, even the salvation of your souls.

As you come to the end of day 21 of your Daniel fast and the final day of our Daniel Fast consecration, Give God glory for taking you through the fast and giving you added strength. Remember God has plans for you, plans of peace and not of evil and to bring you to an expected end.  The Lord knows the desires of your heart. He is concerned about the things that concerns you. This may be the end of the fast, but God is still available to you and working through you and for you.

Prayer:
Thank You, Lord, for Your strength. Thank You for loving me the way You do. Thank You for the plans you have for me. I receive all that You have for me. I am excited about my life, and I walk in total and complete healing in my mind, body, and soul. In Jesus’ name, Amen
