“Working Together Still Works!”
Scripture: Psalm 133:1 KJV

“Behold, how good and how pleasant it is for brethren to dwell together in unity!”

Devotion:
Have you ever been in a meeting with others and it seems like the meeting was getting nowhere fast? Nothing is accomplished, everyone is overtalking, and there’s no agreement anywhere? I have, and let me tell you, that is a “trainwreck!” On the flip side, have you ever been in a meeting with others where everyone has a common goal? Where everyone is actively listening to each other and working together? I have, and in those types of meetings, I leave with a new found motivation to push even further, knowing that I have others who are in agreement with what the end goal is. This type of environment proves our scripture today. When we work together in unity, it’s a pleasant environment where everyone feels a part of something bigger - the end goal. As long as we keep our eyes fixed on God and His plans for our lives, we will continue to work and dwell in unity, because we all are a part of something much bigger than any of us could imagine. Let’s continue to work together because working together still works! (thanks Pastor!)

Prayer:
Great God, we thank You for Your grace and mercy that continues to lead and guide us each day. We ask that You keep our eyes fixed on the end goal so that we can continue to work and dwell in unity. For we know that working together still works! In Jesus’ Name, Amen!
