“The Perfect Connection!”
Scripture: 1 Corinthians 1:10 KJV

“Now I beseech you, brethren, by the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, that ye all speak the same thing; and that there be no divisions among you; but that ye be perfectly joined together in the same mind and in the same judgment.”

Devotion:
Have you ever been with a group of people and it seems like time goes by so fast? Where everyone is getting along, making connections, and building strong networks? How did you feel? Were those connections perfect? Or did they start off great and fizzle out? Oftentimes, we make great connections with people who we think will be around for years to come. However, something happens to break that connection and it’s hard to get it back in sync. But then there are those times when you connect with someone PERFECTLY. You each speak the same things, have lots of things in common, and the connection just grows stronger and stronger. In today’s text, Paul admonished the Church at Corinth to forge those perfect connections. Those connections become stronger and stronger and eventually become impenetrable. Since we know that working together still works, we must intentionally work towards making and keeping those perfect connections with our brothers and sisters in Christ!

Prayer:
God, how great You are! We thank You for creating us, Your people, to form perfect connections with each other! Our goal is to always work together in unity and peace where we have the same mind and in the same judgment. In Jesus’ Name, Amen!
