“Consistency is Key!”
Scripture: Acts 2:42 KJV

"And they continued stedfastly in the apostles' doctrine and fellowship, and in breaking of bread, and in prayers."

Devotion:
In today’s text, the author mentions how the Body of Christ, the church, continued steadfastly in what they were taught to do. One of the words that sticks out is the word steadfastly. A synonym or similar word to steadfast is consistent. To be consistent means to be unchanging in nature, to stick to a standard. In my opinion, any endeavor requires some type of consistency. In other words, one must keep doing what they are doing to achieve the desired outcome. The church in this text had one desired outcome, regardless of how many of them there were. Since they were all unified in their end goal, they knew that being consistent was key to their success as a unified body. They consistently worked together, fellowshipped together, ate together, prayed together, and served God together. Let this be a shining example for us to consistently work together in executing the Will of God!

Prayer:
Lord, we thank You for Your unfailing love. We are in awe of Your goodness to us. Thank You for our brothers and sisters in Christ. For we know that we must consistently work together to achieve greatness for Your Kingdom. In Jesus’ Name, Amen!
