“Miracle Worker”
Scripture: Joshua 3:5

“And Joshua said unto the people, Sanctify yourselves: for to morrow the LORD will do wonders among you."

Devotion:
We know that there is nothing too hard for God! God is a miracle worker! I am a living witness that God can do anything but fail! He can take a negative doctor’s report that says your child may never walk, talk, learn or do anything and turn it around for your good. Currently, that same child, my youngest daughter, is an honor student about to graduate high school. She is taking AP and honors classes, is an avid writer and artist, and has a sassy mouth that proves she can definitely talk. God is a miracle worker!

In today’s scripture, Joshua tells the Israelites to sanctify themselves because God was about to perform a miracle in their lives. The people had to consecrate themselves before the Lord. Because they obeyed God, He showed up and showed out for them and allowed them to cross over a dry Jordan River. I don’t know about you, but I have some rivers that I need to dry up so that I can cross over into the next level that God wants to take me to in my life. During this month of prayer, I believe we have all laid out some prayers and petitions before God that we truly need Him to work out for us. Some may have been answered and others are yet to be answered. God is able! Pastor always says, that “God will allow you to participate in your own miracle.” Our obedience to God is the key to Him miraculously moving in our lives.

Prayer:
Thank You, Lord, for the miracles, signs, and wonders that You are yet performing in our lives. Help us stay obedient to You. Amen.
