Daily Devotional - WK12 - Day 58 - 03/19/2024 - Increase Our Faith

Devotional:
As the apostles felt, sometimes we feel that we need our faith to be increased. One thing we need to understand is that our faith is increased every time we go through a trial. On the other side of the trial is a blessing.

Great unwavering faith can uproot and move any obstacle in our lives. Not only move it, but we can command it to go back to the pit of hell from whence it came. Some challenges we are confronted with may seem too much for us to handle. I am reminded of the two blind men who wanted their sight in Matthew 9:28b-30a.  28b) The blind men came to him: and Jesus saith unto them, Believe ye that I am able to do this? They said unto him, Yea, Lord. 29) Then touched he their eyes saying, According to your faith be it unto you. 30a) And their eyes were opened.

So I say to you, to increase your faith; Roman 10:17 says “So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.” The bigger the problem the more you will need to get into your word, fast, and pray.

As you go through out your day today, start changing the way you look at the trails of life. Let's start looking at them as training wheels so when you come against that same trial again, you'll know how to ride the wave in your faith.

Prayer:
 Heavenly Father, we thank you for leaving on record in your Holy Word how to increase our faith. And when the trials come, we know that they are not here to destroy us, but to take us higher in you. Help us to endure to the end. In Jesus’ name we pray, Amen
