Rooted and Grounded in Love

Eph. 3:17-19
17 That Christ may dwell in your hearts by faith; that ye, being rooted and grounded in love,
18 May be able to comprehend with all saints what is the breadth, and length, and depth, and height; 19 And to know the love of Christ, which passeth knowledge, that ye might be filled with all the fulness of God.

Devotional:
To be rooted implies planting or anchoring in or on the ground. To develop deep roots come from being spiritually nourished each day by spending time reading the Word of God and growing in your relationship with Him. To be grounded means– having a balanced and sensible outlook on life, and to be reasonable and understand the importance of ordinary things in life.

Spiritually we can grow and live from a place of stability to make good decisions.
God’s love is complete. It reaches every part of our being. It reaches out to the world. It continues the length of our lives. God’s love is deep. We have all the fullness of God available to us through our faith and prayer as we live daily for Him. Our faith is the cross securely being settled by the vastness of God’s love. Through knowledge and our experiences, we’ve come to know the love of God and what Christ did for us at and on the cross.

Prayer:
Lord, thank You for Your love which by faith fills our hearts and our minds. I pray that Christ will live in our hearts because of our faith being rooted and grounded in love. I pray we do not allow the enemy to shake our faith to doubt the Truth of God’s love. In Jesus’ name, Amen
