“Walk In Love”
Scripture: Ephesians 5:2

“And walk in love, as Christ also hath loved us, and hath given himself for us an offering and a sacrifice to God for a sweet-smelling savour.”

Devotion:
In today’s Scripture, Paul encourages us to "walk in love." It's a call to live our lives in a way that reflects the selfless love that Christ demonstrated to us. But what does it mean to walk in love? It means more than just feeling love in our hearts; it’s about allowing that love to shape our actions, decisions, and relationships. The love Christ showed us was not passive or conditional. He gave Himself fully, offering Himself as a sacrifice for us. We didn’t deserve it, but He loved us when we were still lost in our sin. As followers of Christ, we are called to reflect that same kind of love in our lives.

Walking in love means laying down our own desires for the good of others. It’s choosing kindness when it's difficult, showing patience when we're tested, and offering grace when we want to hold onto bitterness. It means forgiving when we’d rather hold onto hurt and extending compassion when others have wronged us. When we love others as Christ loved us, we become an offering that glorifies God. Our love becomes a testimony to His grace and a reflection of His character. Love is not just a feeling—it’s a lifestyle. May we live in a way that reflects the love of Christ to everyone around us.

Prayer:
Lord, thank You for Your incredible love, shown so perfectly through Jesus. Help me to walk in love as He did. Teach me to be selfless, patient, and forgiving, so that my life reflects Your heart. May my actions bring glory to You and be a sweet-smelling offering to You. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
