Devotional:
It’s day 30, and today is a day to celebrate, not because the month of prayer has ended but because of what has started within us.  It is a moment to celebrate because of what this month has revealed within us.  We have prayed and fasted for God to do a work in us, for God to look after our families, our churches, and our leaders everywhere, and over the past 7 days we have believed God for healing and deliverance.

Yes, it’s an ongoing battle, and the enemy has no intention of walking away permanently, but what our adversary does has no bearing on your next level of blessing.  This is the year of great harvest; this is the season to recognize how consistent and faithful God has been towards us.

I have had so many moments this month where God took me back to situations and circumstances in my past where He showed up and became God for me.  What was the difference?  It was the Lord’s mercies that buffered me many times, in spite of my trying to do things my way.  I’m so glad that, in spite of my flaws, shortcomings, and humanity, God continued to keep me.  If you feel like me, you recognize how great his mercy is towards us and how it reveals the forever faithful nature of an eternally loving God, whom we call Father.

I pray you have taken the time this month to reflect, take a good look at your life, and see how far God has brought you.  Did you notice that what was last year or yesterday is no more? Did you notice that God has provided for you through it all?  Did you notice that what could have happened did not happen? Did you notice that He never threw us away or gave up on us?
I did, and I realize more than ever before that this is God’s mercy at work.  It’s presented as God’s kindness, love, favor, and faithfulness, which are given to us every day without fail.

As we come to the end of our time of consecration and prayer, let us remember how faithful He is to us. Let us remember how He cares for us and loves us unconditionally. Let us remember that He is in control of all things and will perfect those things that concern us as His mercy endures forever do not forsake to seek God always and continue to live for Him. Psalm 139:8.

Prayer:
Dear God, thank you for loving us unconditionally.  Thank you for the abundant mercy you have prepared for us every day. We are grateful for the experiences you gave us this month.  Your revelations, guidance, blessings, miracles, and encouragement during this period of consecration were invaluable and needed to prepare us for the great harvest you have in store for us.  As we look forward, we pray that you will give us a tender heart and a ready mind to be sensitive to your spiritual guidance as you lead us and give us vision for what lies ahead.  We pray for our pastor’s strength and discernment as God gives him what is needed to aid us on our journey towards spiritual excellence.  As we move into the rest of this year, we hold on to our conviction and belief that our time of prayer has yielded a harvest of blessings according to your will. In Jesus name, Amen.
