Sing YOUR Song!

Devotional Reading: Colossians 3:14-17
“And above all these things put on charity, which is the bond of perfectness. And let the peace of God rule in your hearts, to the which also ye are called in one body; and be ye thankful. Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly in all wisdom; teaching and admonishing one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing with grace in your hearts to the Lord. And whatsoever ye do in word or deed, do all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God and the Father by him.”

It’s been said that music is the universal language. Every human culture has music, just as each has its own language. Music speaks to EVERYONE. I believe music carries a spirit. One song can change your whole mood. It can take you to a place mentally, emotionally or spiritually. Here the Apostle encourages the church to use the universal language to encourage and lift each other. Sing a song...

The promotion of peace in the body of Christ is encouraged by the use of two very simple methods... prayer and praise. They also happen to be what’ll carry you through dark patches and what will keep you in the light.

And WHATEVER you do, for God’s sake, do it in the name of the Lord Jesus. Sing your song not only will you feel better, somebody needs to hear it.
