“Standing In Grace”
Scripture: Romans 5:1–2 KJV
 
“Therefore being justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ: By whom also we have access by faith into this grace wherein we stand, and rejoice in hope of the glory of God.”

Devotion:
As we walk this Christian walk. we start with faith — simple trust in Jesus Christ. But it doesn’t stop there. Paul reminds us in Romans 5:1–2 that because we are justified by faith, we now have peace with God, access to grace, and a reason to rejoice in hope. This peace is not just a feeling — it’s a fact. We are no longer enemies of God, but His beloved children. Through Jesus, we are brought into a place of constant, unshakable grace. We don’t stand in fear or uncertainty, but in the secure, undeserved favor of God.

And that grace gives us a reason to rejoice — because it also gives us hope. Hope not based on our performance, but on God’s promise. Whatever you are facing today, remember where you stand: in grace. You are not standing in shame, guilt, or judgment — you are firmly planted in the love, peace, and hope that only Jesus can give. Stand tall in that truth, and let your heart rejoice.

Prayer:
Lord, Thank You for the peace I have with You through Jesus Christ. Thank You that I no longer have to strive for approval, because I’ve been justified by faith. Help me to rest in the grace You’ve given, to stand confidently in Your love, and to rejoice in the hope of Your glory. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
