Scriptural Reflection

2 Corinthians 5:10
For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ; that every one may receive the things done in his body, according to that he hath done, whether it be good or bad.

Devotional Thought
If you have ever been in a situation where you were wrongly accused and eventually vindicated, you understand a level of relief someone who has walked under the cloud of suspicion without the air ever being cleared can ever relate to. I have been in places where I could have fought back and possibly won, but the Holy Ghost constrained me.  I have also been in places that dictated speaking up in order to save lives or change outcomes. Though we can easily end up at a disadvantage in this life we have the blessed promise that the final Judge will vindicate us. In the meantime, as righteous individuals we are charged to speak truth to power AND “to thine own self be true”. When you see something say something! Call it out, even when it’s in you.
 
Prayer
Lord, put your bits in my mouth and bridle down my tongue. Grant unto to me the wisdom to know when to be silent and when to lift my voice like a trumpet in Zion to declare boldly what you release me to without reservation, resistance or delay. In Jesus’ name. Amen.
