“The Power of Your Testimony”
Scripture: Revelation 12:11, NIV

“They triumphed over him by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of their testimony; they did not love their lives so much as to shrink from death.”
 
Devotion:
If you really want to stomp on the enemy's head, use the power of your testimony. God performs miracles, signs, and wonders every second, yet we hear more about the bad things happening in this world than we do the good ones. If we aren’t careful, we might believe only bad things are happening. But the devil is a liar!

How do we overcome the dirty, rotten devil? We overcome him by the precious power of the blood of our living Savior and the word of our testimony. I don’t know too many people who get good news and keep it to themselves. The “Gospel” and the gift of salvation represent the greatest news of all. When we let others know the reason we don’t look like what we’ve been through is not because we are so saved, sanctified, and holy, but it’s because of the grace of God, then they too can experience the goodness of God.
 
I’m so grateful God thought enough about a once shy, small-town country girl who has battled depression, low-self-esteem, and anxiety to save me and give me confidence in Him. Above all, I’m thankful God is still working on me daily. We have people assigned to us who are waiting to listen to our testimony. They need to know how good God has been to us. If we want to walk in the freedom and power of God, we must boldly and without fear open our mouths and testify of God’s goodness!

Prayer:
God, help us share our testimonies with others. Help us overcome the enemy by speaking about Your goodness and encouraging others. Amen.
