“Strength in Deep Places”
Scripture: Ephesians 3:16

“That he would grant you, according to the riches of his glory, to be strengthened with might by his Spirit in the inner man;”

Devotion:
There’s a kind of strength that muscles can’t give and motivation can’t maintain. It’s the strength that rises from the inner being — the place where your identity, courage, and endurance live.

Paul prays that believers would be strengthened from the inside out, not by willpower, but by the Holy Spirit Himself. That means:

• God doesn’t just give strength —
  He becomes your strength.
• He doesn’t just patch you up —
  He fortifies you.
• He doesn’t just help you cope —
  He empowers you to stand.

And notice the measure of this strength:
“According to the riches of His glory.”
Not according to your capacity.
Not according to your mood.
Not according to your circumstances.
According to His glory — which is limitless.

When your inner being is strengthened, outer pressures lose their power.
When the Spirit fortifies your heart, storms can shake the surface but not the foundation.
When God strengthens you, you don’t just survive — you become steady, rooted, and resilient.

This is strength that carries you through seasons, not just moments.

Prayer:
Lord, strengthen me in the deepest places of my heart. Let Your Spirit empower me beyond my own ability. Fill me with Your strength, Your courage, and Your peace today. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
