“Made New, From the Inside Out”
Scripture: 2 Corinthians 5:17

"Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new"

Devotion:
God doesn’t do surface‑level renovations — He performs total transformation.
When Paul says we become a new creation, he isn’t talking about a slightly improved version of our old selves. He’s describing a spiritual rebirth so deep that the old identity, old patterns, old shame, and old limitations no longer define us.

This doesn’t mean we instantly feel new every day.
But it does mean that God has already declared something over us that our feelings can’t cancel:

You are new.
You are changed.
You are not who you used to be.

The enemy loves to remind you of your past. God loves to remind you of your identity. Every time you choose forgiveness over bitterness, peace over panic, obedience over impulse, or hope over despair — you are living out the “new creation” reality. Transformation is both a moment and a journey. God starts it instantly, and He continues it daily.

Prayer:
Lord, thank You for making me new in Christ. Help me release the old things that try to cling to me. Teach me to walk confidently in the identity You’ve given me. Let my life reflect the new creation You’ve formed within me. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
