“God With Us”
Scripture: Isaiah 41:10

“Fear thou not; for I am with thee: be not dismayed; for I am thy God: I will strengthen thee; yea, I will help thee; yea, I will uphold thee with the right hand of my righteousness.”

Devotion:
Isaiah 41:10 is a tender yet powerful reminder of God’s abiding presence with His people. The command “fear thou not” is not rooted in our ability to be brave, but in God’s promise to be near. He does not speak from a distance. In seasons of uncertainty, weariness, or overwhelming pressure, God reassures us that we are not alone.  “I am with thee” is the foundation of every promise that follows. When God is present, fear loses its power. When we feel weak, He promises to strengthen us. When we feel overwhelmed, He promises to help us. When we feel as though we might fall, He promises to uphold us with His righteous right hand.

God promises His presence, His identity as our God, His strength when ours is depleted, His help when we feel incapable, and His sustaining hand when we feel as though we might fall. He does not support us halfheartedly or temporarily. His grip is firm, His timing is perfect, and His faithfulness is unchanging. We may still walk through difficulties, but we do so upheld, strengthened, and secured by the One who never leaves us. Our confidence is not in circumstances improving, but in God remaining with us through them all.

Prayer:
Lord God, thank You for Your comforting promise that You are with us.  Strengthen us where we are weak, help us where we feel incapable, and uphold us when we feel unsteady. Teach us to trust Your righteous hand and to rest in Your unfailing presence. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
