“Gift of Living Water”
Scripture: John 4:10

“Jesus answered and said unto her, If thou knewest the gift of God, and who it is that saith to thee, Give me to drink; thou wouldest have asked of him, and he would have given thee living water.”

Devotion:
Jesus meets a weary, searching woman at the well—someone burdened by her past, misunderstood by others, and thirsty for something more than what life had offered her. In one moment of grace, Jesus reveals a truth greater than her shame, her circumstances, and her emptiness: there is a gift God longs to give—Living Water. This Living Water is the life Jesus pours into all who come to Him. The world offers temporary wells—success, relationships, material things—but none can reach the deep thirst of the soul. Only Christ gives water that satisfies forever.

Jesus did not wait for the woman to fix her life before offering His gift. He met her exactly where she was and He does the same for us. All He asks is that we come and ask. His Living Water flows freely for the thirsty, the weary, and the longing. The gift of Living Water transforms us from the inside out—overflowing into worship, witness, and renewed purpose. He knows what you need. He sees where you are. And His well never runs dry.

Prayer:
Lord God, Thank You for the precious gift of Living Water found in Jesus Christ. Fill every empty place with Your presence, Your peace, and Your power. Thank You that Your well never runs dry. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
