“A Lasting Fragrance”
Scripture: 2 Corinthians 2:14, NKJV

“Now thanks be to God who always leads us in triumph in Christ, and through us diffuses the fragrance of His knowledge in every place.”

Devotion:
I don’t know about you, but there is nothing like a fragrance that you can still smell at the end of a long day! Now take that natural aspect and apply it to our spiritual walk. Just like there are fragrances that have a lasting scent, we, as God’s people, should have a lasting impression or “fragrance” if you will, of God. People should sense and know that there is something different about us, and when they become curious about it, that’s our time to be the “diffuser” of the knowledge of God. Today’s Scripture reminds us that we are the fragrance of God, that we should smell like him and leave a lasting scent in whatever environment we enter. Through Him, we achieve victory, and in turn, spread that knowledge of Him in every area and aspect of our lives. It’s up to us to be a lasting fragrance.

Prayer: 
Lord, we thank You for giving us a never-ending victory. Our desire is to always be a lasting fragrance of Your goodness and grace towards humankind. In Jesus’ Name, Amen!
