“Gratitude in All Things”
Scripture: 1 Thessalonians 5:18, NIV

“Give thanks in all circumstances; for this is God’s will for you in Christ Jesus.”

Devotion:
Gratitude isn’t just a response to good news—it’s a rhythm of the heart that trusts God even when the path is unclear. Paul’s words to the Thessalonians challenge us to give thanks in all circumstances, not for all circumstances. That’s a big difference. We’re not called to celebrate pain or pretend hardship doesn’t hurt. We’re invited to anchor our hearts in the goodness of God, even when life feels uncertain.

Prayer:
Lord, teach me to give thanks not just when life is easy, but when it’s hard. Help me to see Your hand at work in every season. May my gratitude be a testimony of trust in You. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
