“Written for Our Hope”
 Scripture: Romans 15:4
 
“For whatsoever things were written aforetime were written for our learning, that we through patience and comfort of the scriptures might have hope.”

Devotion:
Aren’t we so blessed that we can find stories in the Bible about people being healed, facing battles, wilderness seasons, victories, and failures? Paul lets us know in Romans 15:4 that these stories are all there for us. They were written to teach us, strengthen us, give us encouragement, and more importantly, to stir up our hope.

When we read about how God delivered Joseph, or how Jesus healed the woman with the issue of blood, the man with leprosy, the man at the pool of Bethesda, and so much more, we should be reminded that our God is faithful, and if He did it then, He can still do it for us and our loved ones today.

Let’s read God's Word daily, it will give us hope - especially in the midst of our storms; and let us pray for others who are going through, like those experiencing a breast cancer journey today. As believers, we know that we serve a God who can heal every disease, great or small. With Him, all things are possible!

Prayer:
Lord, thank You for the gift of Your Word. Help us to read and trust in Your Word, not just for answers, but for encouragement and hope. Remind us through every story and every promise that You are with us, You are faithful, and You are working even when we can’t see it. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
