“Hope in Waiting”
Scripture: Jeremiah 29:11

“For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the Lord, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end.”
 
Devotion:
This verse was spoken to a people in exile—far from home, uncertain of their future. And yet, God’s message wasn’t one of despair, but of hope. He reminds them (and us) that even in seasons of waiting, wandering, or hardship, He is working behind the scenes with purpose and peace.

God’s plans are not random. They are intentional, personal, and good. Even when life feels chaotic, this verse anchors us in the truth that God sees the full picture. He’s not just aware of your situation—He’s actively shaping your future and your vision.

The “expected end” isn’t just about earthly success. It’s about spiritual fulfillment, restoration, and walking in the destiny God has designed for you. So, if it looks like things are moving slow for you, know that you’re right where God wants you to be, while He’s preparing the place for you to flourish and grow.

Prayer:
Father, thank You for thinking of us with peace and purpose. Help us to trust Your plans even when we don’t understand the path. Give us patience in the waiting and confidence in Your promises. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
