“Rest for the Weary Soul”
Scripture: Jeremiah 31:25

“For I have satiated the weary soul, and I have replenished every sorrowful soul."

Devotion:
God speaks tenderly in this verse, offering comfort to those who are worn out and burdened. “Satiated” means fully satisfied—He doesn’t just give a little relief; He fills the weary soul to overflowing. And “replenished” speaks of restoration, like a dry well being filled again.

This promise is personal. If your soul feels tired from life’s demands, grief, or spiritual struggle, God sees you. He doesn’t rush past sorrow—He meets it with healing. His presence is the answer to exhaustion, and His grace is the remedy for emptiness.
Jeremiah 31 is a chapter of hope and renewal. Verse 25 reminds us that God doesn’t just rebuild nations—He restores hearts.

Application:

• Take five minutes today to sit quietly and invite God to refresh your soul.
• Write down one area where you feel weary and ask God to replenish it.
• Encourage someone else who may be struggling—share this verse as a reminder of God’s care.

Prayer:
Father, thank You for seeing my weariness and sorrow. Fill me today with Your peace and strength. Replenish what’s been drained, and let my soul find rest in Your presence. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
