"Joy in His Works"
Scripture: Psalm 92:4, NKJV

“For You, Lord, have made me glad through Your work; I will triumph in the works of Your hands.”

Devotion:
Joy isn't something we generate—it’s something we receive when we see God's hand at work. The psalmist isn't just glad about what God did for him; he's rejoicing in the beauty of what God is doing, period. Creation, restoration, provision, and protection all radiate divine fingerprints.

When we slow down enough to observe, God's work becomes visible even in the mundane: in the kindness of a stranger, the rhythm of nature, the healing of a wound. And that gladness grows into triumph—not in ourselves, but in God's faithfulness.

This verse is a call to cultivate awe. Gladness flows where worship dwells.

Today’s Challenge:
Take a walk—or simply pause—and notice one beautiful “work of His hands.” Name it. Thank Him for it. Rejoice like it’s your first time seeing it.

Prayer:
Lord, Your works give me joy. Help me see them clearly, even when life feels heavy. Let Your beauty remind me that You’re active, intentional, and kind.  In Jesus’ name. Amen.
