“Lookin’ Good!”
Scripture: Psalm 33:1 KJV

“Rejoice in the Lord, O ye righteous: for praise is comely for the upright.”

Devotion:
Whenever someone wears or has on attire that sets them apart from the rest, we generally say to them, “lookin’ good!” This lets the individual know that we noticed them, and adore their apparel. While this is a natural statement, it can easily be applied to the spiritual. Today’s text tells us to simply rejoice in the Lord. In other words, be happy in God. When we are happy in God, it causes us to give Him continuous praise. The praise that we offer to Him, is comely or looks good on us! I know plenty of people who, when they are praising God, it excites or encourages me. If it encourages someone like me, how much more Our Savior Jesus Christ?

Prayer:
Father God, You get all the glory and honor. We know that praise looks good on us and it’s our desire to give You all the praise that You desire! Thank You for Your unfailing love to us! In Jesus’ Name, Amen!
