“Rejoice, and Be Glad!”
Scripture: Psalm 68:3, KJV

“But let the righteous be glad; let them rejoice before God: yea, let them exceedingly rejoice.”
 
Devotion:
One thing David knew how to do was praise and worship the Lord. He didn't care who was watching or what they had to say. He didn't care about being dignified or undignified in front of people. He believed in giving God the praise. In today’s Scripture, David is admonishing the people of God to rejoice because they have the victory over the enemy. As soon as we accepted Jesus Christ into our hearts, we changed the trajectory of our futures from defeated to victorious. However, the trick of the old nasty stinking devil is to keep us distracted, downtrodden, and feeling defeated. The devil is a liar! We have the victory through Christ Jesus! By myself, I am nothing. But with God, ALL things are possible. The joy of the Lord is our strength! When we are weak and weary in this old body, that’s not the time to give up or quit, it’s the time to tap into God’s power the more and praise Him until we stop focusing on how big our problem is and remember how big our God is! You see, the more we praise Him, the better we feel. We can’t just rejoice when everything is going right in our lives, we have to rejoice even in the wilderness experiences. We must stand on the Word of God. If He said it, it will come to pass. I don’t know what you are going through or have gone through, but I want you to know that you have the victory through Jesus Christ. Don’t wait until you see it happen. Praise God like it’s already done!

Prayer:
Lord, help us to rejoice in You always. Help us to decree and declare victory in every area of our lives. We trust You, Lord, and we give You all the praise, glory, and honor. Amen.
