“Rejoicing in Salvation”
Scripture: Luke 10:20, NIV

"Nevertheless, do not rejoice in this, that the spirits are subject to you, but rejoice that your names are written in heaven."
 
Devotion:
Jesus redirects the disciples' joy from their spiritual victories to something far greater—their eternal security in Him. It’s easy to celebrate accomplishments and moments of power, but the true source of joy is knowing we belong to God. This verse calls us to a deeper, lasting rejoicing, anchored in our salvation rather than fleeting successes.

Application:

• Shift your focus—celebrate your identity in Christ above all else.
• Cultivate humility—recognize that God’s grace is the foundation of your joy.
• Rest in assurance—your name is written in heaven, secure in His love.

Prayer:
Lord, help me to rejoice in the things that truly matter. Keep my heart anchored in Your salvation and not in temporary victories. Thank You for writing my name in heaven and for securing my future in You. Amen.
