“Steps to Success!”
Scripture: Romans 12:12 KJV

“Rejoicing in hope; patient in tribulation; continuing instant in prayer;”

Devotion:
In my Language Arts class, we have a system of tackling a complex text called “Steps to Success.” Basically, we teach students five simple steps with the hopes that if they follow them with fidelity, they can tackle and comprehend any level of complex text given to them. Each step leads into the next to ensure cohesiveness, and to help build autonomy in the students’ learning. Today’s text reminds me of this. It gives three simple steps that are keys to being successful in this walk. These steps lead into each other, which shows us just how intentional God is with His Word. We simply must delight in the hope that we have in our Father, learn to accept what God allows in our situations, and never stop praying. With these steps, we can tackle any circumstance and build our success in walking with God.

Prayer:
Lord, we thank You for being intentional. We appreciate You for making things so simple for us to execute. We know that by following Your Word, we can achieve great success in You. Help us to continue to be obedient to Your instructions for a well-lived, abundant life. In Jesus’ Name, Amen!
