“Rejoice!”
Scripture: Philippians 4:4 KJV

“Rejoice in the Lord always: and again I say, Rejoice.”

Devotion:
I’m sure all of us have experienced life in its best form, as well as its worst form. We all have stories of trials and triumphs, tests and testimonies, even heartaches and heart-warming situations. Through it all, we must rejoice! Rejoice doesn’t mean having a toxic positivity where you ignore that things aren’t in the best light, but rather you look at it from a lens of finding joy in it, regardless of what the situation is. Today’s Scripture is a reminder of that. The Apostle Paul is admonishing us to simply rejoice or delight in the Lord ALWAYS. When we delight ourselves in the Lord, we experience peace, because He keeps those in perfect peace whose mind stays on Him. There’s joy in a good situation and joy in a bad situation, it’s all about changing our perspective. When we rejoice in God, we tend to see things through the eyes of God. Our thought process changes, and we are able to realize that things aren’t as bad as they seem! So the next time when you think about what has happened in your life, REJOICE! When you think about what is happening in your life, REJOICE! And when you think about what you want to happen in your life, REJOICE!

Prayer:
Thank You Lord for Your goodness to us! We appreciate You for giving us the ability to change our perspective through rejoicing in whatever situation we face in our lives. For we know that You are faithful in all of Your promises. We will always endeavor to rejoice and praise Your Holy Name. In Jesus’ Name, Amen!
