“Joyful Noise With Songs”
Scripture: Psalm 95:2. AMPC
 
“Let us come before His presence with thanksgiving; let us make a joyful noise to Him with songs of praise!

Devotion:
Worship is gratefulness flowing from our heart. When we come to God with thanksgiving, He is not looking to see if we hit the right note or if we were on key, He is looking at our heart to see if we are postured in the right place for worship. Joyful noise sometimes sounds like noise, but when our heart is right, it sounds like a sweet melody in God’s ears. When we sing the songs of praise, we are declaring the greatness of God while also reminding ourselves of who He is, His faithfulness to us and embracing His presence. In the old days, people used to sing to push back discouragement and come closer to God even in the midst of life’s circumstances. Don’t hold back your praise, sing songs of praise with a joyful noise to God. He's waiting to hear from you.
As we close this month of reflection, remember all the things God has done for you, what He is doing right now, and what He is going to do. We remember lest we forget! God bless you!

Lord, thank You for being an awesome God! Help us to never forget all that You have promised, all that You have done and thank You for all You will do. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.
