“It’s Working for My Good”
Scripture: Romans 8:28 NIV
 
“And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose.”

Devotion:
God has a perfect plan for our lives, and it is our obedience to His will that propels us forward in that plan. When we serve God faithfully and seek Him more than the cares of this world, that’s when He can get a return on the investments He has placed in us. Our gifts, talents, and abilities were given to us not for vain glory or for a sense of pride, but they were given to us so we could glorify the name of the Lord on high. Today’s Scripture lets us know that because we love God, and we are called by Him, He is working “ALL” things out for our good. Not some, not a few, but “ALL” things out! I don’t know what your struggle is or what you have been going through this morning, just know that God is faithful and He is more than able to deliver, heal, and set you free. God can and will work ALL things out for your good!

Prayer:
God, help us to rest in the peace of knowing that You are working all things out for our good despite what it may look like with our natural eyes. Help us to trust Your plan for our lives. Help us to walk in obedience to the call you have on our lives and fulfill the purpose You have placed in us. Amen.
