“Shining the Light of Christ”
Scripture: Matthew 5:16

“Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven.”

Devotion:
Jesus calls us to be a light in the world—reflecting His love, truth, and goodness. Our actions and attitudes serve as a testimony of God’s presence in our lives. When we walk in kindness, integrity, and faith, we illuminate the path for others to see Him more clearly. This verse reminds us that our good works aren’t about personal glory but about pointing others to the Father.

Application:

• Look for opportunities to serve and encourage others through acts of kindness.
• Be intentional about living in a way that reflects Christ’s love and grace.
• When facing difficult moments, remember that your response can be a light to those watching.
• Ask God to strengthen your witness, so that your life brings Him glory.

Prayer:
Lord, help me to be a light in this world. Let my words and actions reflect Your love and truth. May my life bring glory to You, leading others to see Your goodness. Strengthen me to shine brightly even in darkness. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
