“Welcoming Others as Christ Welcomes Us”
Scripture: Romans 15:7

"Wherefore receive ye one another, as Christ also received us to the glory of God."

Devotion:
Paul’s words remind us that acceptance is a reflection of Christ’s love. Jesus welcomed us with grace, despite our flaws, inviting us into His kingdom. In the same way, we are called to embrace others with love and understanding. This means setting aside judgment, extending kindness, and seeing people through the lens of God’s mercy. When we do this, we bring glory to Him, fostering unity and peace in our relationships.

Application:

• Make an intentional effort to welcome others, especially those who feel overlooked or excluded.
• Practice empathy by listening without judgment and showing understanding.
• Reflect on how Christ has accepted you, and extend that same grace to others.
• Seek unity in relationships by prioritizing love over personal differences.

Prayer:
Lord, thank You for accepting me with open arms and unconditional love. Teach me to extend that same grace to others, welcoming them as You have welcomed me. Help me to foster unity and reflect Your love in all I do. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
