“Loved First”
Scripture: I John 4:19

“We love him, because he first loved us.”

Devotion:
God’s love is the foundation of our ability to love others. Before we ever sought Him, He loved us unconditionally, showing His love through Christ’s sacrifice. This verse is a powerful reminder that our love for God and others is a response to His overwhelming grace. When we understand His love, we can reflect it in our relationships, offering kindness, patience, and forgiveness.

Application:

• Take time to reflect on how God has shown love to you in your life.
• Express gratitude for His love through prayer and worship.
• Show His love to others by being patient, forgiving, and kind—even when it's difficult.
• Be a living example of God's love by serving and encouraging those around you.

Prayer:
Father, thank You for loving me first, without condition. Help me to reflect Your love in my words, actions, and relationships. Let my love be a testimony of Your grace, and may others see You in me. In Jesus' name, Amen.
