“Guard Your Heart”
Scripture: Proverbs 4:23

“Keep thy heart with all diligence; for out of it are the issues of life.”

Devotion:
The heart is the wellspring of life—our emotions, thoughts, and spiritual direction flow from it. Solomon’s wisdom reminds us that whatever we allow into our hearts will shape our lives. If we fill ourselves with negativity, doubt, or sinful influences, it will manifest in our actions. But if we guard our hearts with God’s truth, love, and wisdom, our lives will reflect His righteousness.

Application:

• Be intentional about what you allow into your heart—through words, entertainment, and relationships.
• Meditate on God’s Word to strengthen your heart against deception.
• Ask the Holy Spirit to help you discern influences that pull you away from God’s purpose.
• Speak life over yourself and others, allowing your heart to be a source of encouragement.

Prayer:
Lord, help me to guard my heart with wisdom and truth. Keep me from influences that lead me away from You, and fill me with Your love, purity, and discernment. May everything I do be a reflection of Your righteousness. In Jesus' name, Amen.
