“In Spite Of!”
Scripture: Romans 8:37 NLT

“No, despite all these things, overwhelming victory is ours through Christ, who loved us.”

Devotion:
We are distracted by so many things. Oftentimes, it leaves us feeling as if it isn’t one thing, it’s another. What if I told you that in spite of all of those distractions, you have the victory no matter what? Hard to fathom? Not really. Today’s Scripture proves that. Romans 8 lists all types of distractions and situations that we encounter. It seems like the list is never-ending. However, at the end of that list, there is a proclamation of victory. We have the victory despite all that we experience and encounter. That victory comes through Christ because He loves us unconditionally. So, the next time, it seems like life is “lifing,” remember that in spite of it, we win no matter what! Victory is ours through Jesus Christ!

Prayer:
Jesus, we thank You for the overwhelming victory over ANY SITUATION we face! Knowing that in spite of all of the distractions, we are overcomers through You is a comforting feeling. In Jesus’ Name, Amen!
