“Don’t Fall for It!”
Scripture: Daniel 11:32 NLT

“He will flatter and win over those who have violated the covenant. But the people who know their God will be strong and will resist him.”

Devotion:
In this chapter of Daniel, we read about two kings and their kingdoms. The text elaborates on the conquests and challenges of the king of the North and king of the South. Today’s verse refers to the king of the North, and how he will persuade people to follow him, while breaking the covenant. But there will be people who won’t fall for the trick of the covenant breakers because they know God for themselves. This is a great reminder to us, in the present day, that we must hold fast to what God has said in His Word. We see it even in today’s society; people who use persuasive language in a way to cause us to deviate from what we know to be true, that God is the ultimate Saviour and Our Heavenly Father. I encourage you to DON” T FALL FOR IT! We know who God is, let’s stick with that, and not be tossed with every doctrine that tries to entice us. We got this brothers and sisters!

Prayer:
God, we know You to be the ultimate Saviour. Thank You for having a true relationship with us where we can recognize and know You for ourselves. Help us to never violate the covenant, but stand firmly on what we have been taught and know concerning You. In Jesus’ Name, Amen!
