“Patiently Waiting”
Scripture: Romans 8:25, NIV
 
“But if we hope for what we do not yet have, we wait for it patiently."

Devotion:
Juanita Bynum has a song entitled, “I Don’t Mind Waiting.” She says, “I don’t mind waiting on You, Lord.” How many of us can say that’s our testimony today? God, I don’t know how, I don’t know when, but I trust that You are going to do it just for me! The trick of the old nasty stinking dirty devil is to get us to believe that God is not concerned about what we go through down here, but the devil is a liar! God is concerned about us, and He loved us so much that He sent His son from glory, wrapped in flesh, to redeem us back to Him. That is why we have a blessed hope, and we shouldn't mind waiting on the move of God.

See, when we wait on the Lord, He never fails to show up right on time. If we call on a friend, loved one, or a family member, they may not be available when we call. But God! God is omnipotent, omnipresent, and omniscient. He possesses all power, exists everywhere at the same time, and knows all. God is an on time God! Whatever we lack, He can provide. If you need peace, seek God! If you need joy, seek God! If you need strength, seek God! Whatever you need, God has it. He is more than able to supply ALL our needs according to His riches in glory by Jesus Christ.
     
Prayer:
Lord, thank You for being such a Gracious Father to us. Help us keep the faith and patiently wait on You. Amen.
